It always warms my heart to see how you all cultivate a relationship with these cards and how they peer back from the garden to you. Watching as you create rituals with these botanical decks has been one of the most joyous experiences, and so I thought I would share that with you.
During each botanical Season of natural change, where the blooms are unfolding, the garden is abound with green, the sun awakens seedlings from the soil and the moon illuminates the mystery of a night's sky, here is a round-up of some of my favorite photographs from our budding community.
"Each card features the flora and fauna that make up Leila + Olive’s world, as well as a fold-out guidebook to help the reader along the way, so they can allow their intuition to bloom and shine. Since this pamphlet has clever sayings like “Shuffle off coils that ground grand intentions. We’re winged and weeded, a pure mother of invention,” for Death, practitioners can easily find their own path of interpreting the cards.
The Ophidia Rosa tarot is the perfect addition for anyone who feels the serpentine movements of transformation bubbling in their veins. Whether you’re a novice or a veteran tarot reader, you’re sure to learn something with this deck."

"The cards pictured are my first deck ever, I got when I became somewhat open about my practice in 2016. They’ve been with me through my whole open journey...
I’m in love with this aesthetic. It just is so many things all at once, but balanced so well. It’s modern and minimal, but witchy and moody. It’s got earthy tones and a warmth to it, all while being a little mysterious. But let’s be honest, the Ophidia Rosa Tarot makes any space you’re reading a little more magical and earthy."
- Olivia (The Witch of Wonderlust)
"The Maiden Oracle is a work of art from start to finish. Beautiful just doesn’t seem to cover it.The botanical illustrations are what truly captures the eye. Set against a sumptuous tea-stained background these delicate hand-drawn botanical illustrations feel strangely otherworldly. Graceful and beautiful are the perfect words to describe the illustration style. And yet I feel within the energy of the deck a smoky ancient and wildly elusive power.
The guidebook is poetic. Short versus make up the regular description for each card. It’s an interesting approach to card descriptions and I rather like it.
The Maiden Oracle has created an atmosphere unlike any other. When you shuffle the cards you can feel that atmosphere slowly unravelling around you until at long last you are enveloped by it. Few decks manage to weave such an atmosphere and so for that reason alone, the Maiden Oracle has a very special place in my collection."

"Plants and flowers help produce oxygen, making them essential to our ecosystem. This [Pythia Botanica] deck, infused with plant magic, helps communicate the bounds of wisdom that live within plants. Earth signs are sure to feel a kindred connection to these cards."

"I can not put into words my connection and love for these two decks, as well as my love for the work of Leila + Olive. I’ve started pulling these oracle cards to connect with my ancestors and to receive guidance before spellwork, and I can’t recommend the [Pythia Botanica] Oracle decks enough for those wanting to branch into divination outside of tarot, connect with herbal allies, and move into intuitive reading.
My new favorite Oracle. I didn't think I could love an Oracle deck this much."
- Frankie (Chaotic Witch Aunt)
"The Maiden Oracle is really unique in the sense that it has a botanical theme throughout and the Major Arcana. I really enjoy working with this deck, it's a meaty deck, there are a lot of cards in it. The artwork is just beautiful. It comes with a guidebook that has quite a bit, and her writing is extremely poetic. It's very thought provoking, and for instance the Major Arcana that she has in here, I really enjoy. This is a [deck] that is a deeper one, and it had me thinking a lot, it gives off this grounding earthy energy."

"Wow. I mean wow. This deck is a combination of rustic, feminine, botanical, natural, grave and sweet. It is highly detailed and beautifully printed with golden edges and thin lines, presented in a smooth black illustrated box complete with a leaflet; I'm floored. Snakes and moths, spiders and fungi act as guides through this world of floral interpretation and symbolism. The illustrations are like they were taken from the diary of some wild botanist; a dreamy garden of familiar and magical herbs. Everything about this deck is quality so the cost is well worth it. For a green witch like me, this is a dream-come-true of a deck and will probably join main circulation in the Parlor. I highly recommend this deck to readers who want quality and substance with simplicity."

"The Ophidia Rosa Tarot is an absolutely beautiful deck. It plays with the idea of the garden of myth and the serpentine nature of the creatures within it. The detail down the antiqued golden gilded edges, tea-stained thick cardstock, and herbal illustrations is absolutely gorgeous. There is an air of mystery to the deck and an urge to follow through the journey to find what’s around the next corner. One of my favorite things about this deck is the descriptions in the pamphlet that comes with it. Rather than giving a generic breakdown of the card, each one is supplied with a beautiful poem that transports you into the garden with it."

"I picked up these decks last year, first the Pythia Botanica, which I immediately fell in love with. I then bought Ophidia Rosa the day it was released and it quickly became my go to deck. I love reading with these decks together- they’re so beautiful and have always given me reliable, honest readings. So when she announced the Maiden Oracle, it went to the top of my list and ended up becoming my birthday present.
This is a pretty interesting idea for an oracle deck- it contains reimaginings of the traditional 22 tarot major arcana, and the rest of the cards are more traditional oracle cards. Though, I would say that Leila + Olive’s decks tend to be less than traditional. While the artwork of this deck may lead you to think it’s rather traditional, the ideas are anything but.
This deck does come with a small guidebook, similar to the one with Pythia Botanica. One major point towards the booklet is the use of single they! She also included the names of plants for all cards in this deck! While the oracle cards all have them directly on the card itself, the major arcana inspired cards have them in the book, as well as notes on associates between mythology for some.
Another thing I’m loving about this deck is how unapologetic it is- multiple cards in this deck are devoted to the necessity of “negative” feelings. The need for anger, the validity of being upset, and the right to be impolite. This deck is feminist in the way that doesn’t feel insincere - the way that is less about looking woke on Instagram and more about actually practicing ideas of dismantling systems and speaking out. The Emperor card is a good example of this - it speaks and shows of the importance of taking down oppressive, rigged structures. I’m down for that.
Overall, if you’re looking for a beautiful, strong, and non traditional oracle deck- check this deck out. This deck is very woman centric, but it’s a more inclusive version that as an agender lesbian I find much easier to work with."

"This is my favorite deck! Quality above all praise, aesthetics off the charts. This beautiful deck is for flower lovers and for those who already know the Tarot. Interaction with her is a beautiful walk in the garden."

"Ophidia Rosa Tarot is a beautiful tarot deck. I bought it because I have a passion for botanical illustrations and so I couldn’t miss this deck in my collection. Botany has always been a passion. If you have the same passion you must get this deck that plays on the celebration of flora, like an immaculate ( and dark ) garden of Eden.
Each arcane is designed according to the artist's botanical imagery and her perceptions and emotions of the floral world. Some are really evocative and can express with few lines the deep meanings of each archetype depicted in the Major Arcana.
The quality is excellent, and the cards have a beautiful gold outline. One of the most interesting details is that in the booklet you can find a little poem which describe the essence of each card. You know, poetry and flowers/ plants always go together!"

"This deck is so beautifully designed and a lovely tool for self reflection. As someone who loves all things botanical and truly believes in their healing powers. I find this deck [Pythia Botanica] to be a magical extension of working with actual botanicals and the art always lifts my spirits."
- Naomi
"The Maiden is a very different Oracle deck, it has the Major Arcana in it, and the rest of the deck is a set of Oracle cards. I was worried about getting this because I thought how am I going to get on with that? I was just very unsure. I've had this deck for about two months and I've worked with it: my god is it amazing! This deck is amazing. The minute I laid out two cards, it was obvious and so clear. It's just gorgeous. What I really like about this is that it gives you poetry to get your mind working, to get you to think outside the box. It's just amazing."
- Martha
"I've worked with tarot, herbs and flowers for nearly 10 years and it makes me so excited to have a deck that brings all of their energy together. The Pythia Botanica Oracle really is quite stunning and if you like flowers, I highly recommend it."
